For a modest fee*, I will meet with you, talk about your concerns, help you identify the legal questions that must be addressed, help you identify a path to navigate the legal landscape, and, if necessary, help you find the lawyer or other professional that can best help you. If we determine that I can provide the service you require and you decide that you would like me to provide the service, then we can move forward with an attorney-client relationship. If the matter is to be billed on a flat-rate basis (i.e., bankruptcy, name change, corporate formation, etc.), then I will credit the fee you paid for the initial meeting toward the flat fee.
* $50 for the first 45 minutes and $125 per hour (billed in 1/10th of an hour increments) after the first 45 minutes.
Disclaimer: This rate does not apply to matrimonial consultations or corporate/LLC litigation matters. Additionally, time-based fees for services provided after the initial meeting will be billed at my regular billing rate.
